Rizzoo Rizzoo

Artist Rizzo Rizzo

Meet Rizzoo Rizzoo

Before he was crashing stages and kicking flava, Rizzoo Rizzoo was known as Randarius Ray, an energetic talent straight from North Houston’s Acres Home neighborhood. Music was life early on thanks in part to his dad, a local emcee known as Rizzoo Ray.

The younger Rizzoo would soon jump into music, joining a group with Moe Gang, JP, Rodji Diego and 10k; eventually linking with Sosamann and the Sauce Twinz after an introduction from JP. Together they would create The Sauce Factory. Not yet behind the mic, Rizzoo was focused on  the business side of the industry, managing promo for Moe Gang.

Then came “Flava In Ya Ear.” The first song Rizzoo ever recorded, the banger became a regional hit, putting The Sauce Factory on the map as they began making real waves across Texas.  But he wasn’t done there. Proving that he had more than one hit under his belt, he would go on to crank out a number of well received projects including “In Sauce We Trust”, “Death of Lit” and “Itz Hot Sauce” which also featured   Lil Uzi, 21 Savage, YFN Lucci and Danny Brown.

Since then he’s proven that he can craft a hit, dropping another with “Off The Lot.” “Other’s songs I’ve put out were cool, but it wasn’t until ‘Off The Lot’ that I started getting attention for a piece of work that I created,” said Rizzoo.

Following features with Complex, 2DopeBoyz, Hype Trak and more, he describes his sound as an escape. Explaining, “Freedom. Sauce is our freedom, it saved us. So our music reflects that.”

Known for his electric stage presence, when it comes to videos he cites Busta Rhymes and Missy Elliott as musical inspiration describing it as “Fun rap. Their videos inspired the way I want my videos to look now. Hype Williams videos made we who I am, now that I think about it.”

Up next, Rizzoo continues to prepare for his upcoming “Drip Flair” EP in a playful nod to wrestling legend Ric Flair, also known for his larger than life personality. He explains, “Ric Flair is the best wrestler in the world and i get my “Wooo ITZ HOT” from him.”

For Rizzoo it’s about making quality music, while keeping it fun. Something he does with ease.
